Deine Mission

Deine Mission ist es, unsere interne IT-Infrastruktur aktiv zu unterstützen und dafür zu sorgen, dass unsere lokalen Server, Netzwerke und Hardware zuverlässig laufen. Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Infrastrukturteam zusammen und sorgst dafür, dass alles zuverlässig funktioniert.

Du unterstützt bei der Pflege unserer Proxmox-Serverumgebung, führst Hardwareanpassungen durch, hältst unser Inventar aktuell und hilfst bei Netzwerkadministration und Troubleshooting.

Deine Aufgaben

Unterstützung beim Betrieb und der Wartung unserer lokalen Serverlandschaft auf Basis von Proxmox
Durchführung von Hardwareänderungen, Upgrades und kleineren Reparaturen
Pflege und Aktualisierung des internen Hardwareinventars
Mitarbeit bei Netzwerkmaintenance, Konfigurationen und Fehleranalysen
Dokumentation von Änderungen, Konfigurationen und IT-relevanten Prozessen
Zusammenarbeit mit dem Engineering-Team, um IT-Anforderungen effizient umzusetzen
Unterstützung bei allgemeinen IT-Tasks im Büro, zum Beispiel im Support, Geräteausgabe oder Arbeitsplatzvorbereitung

Dein Profil

Must-haves

Aktuelles Studium im Bereich Informatik, Informationstechnik oder einem ähnlichen technischen Fach
Grundverständnis von Linux-basierten Systemen
Erste Erfahrung mit Serveradministration oder Virtualisierung (z. B. Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V)
Interesse an Hardware, Netzwerkgrundlagen und Systempflege
Strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Fähigkeit Aufgaben selbstständig zu erledigen und Bereitschaft sich neues Wissen eigenständig anzueignen
Gute Englischkenntnisse, da wir international arbeiten

Nice-to-haves

Erfahrung mit Proxmox oder vergleichbaren Virtualisierungslösungen
Grundkenntnisse in Netzwerktechnik, z. B. VLANs, Routing, Firewall-Konfiguration
Erfahrung im Umgang mit Serverhardware oder Rack-Infrastruktur
Vorwissen über Monitoring, Logging oder Backupkonzepte
Erste Erfahrung in der Dokumentation von IT-Systemen

Your mission

Your mission is to support our internal IT infrastructure and ensure that our local servers, networks and hardware operate reliably. You work closely with our infrastructure team and help keep our engineering operations running smoothly.

You support the maintenance of our Proxmox server environment, carry out hardware changes, keep our inventory up to date and assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Support the operation and maintenance of our local server landscape based on Proxmox
Perform hardware changes, upgrades and small repairs
Maintain and update the internal hardware inventory
Assist with network maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting
Document changes, configurations and IT-related processes
Collaborate with the engineering team to implement IT requirements
Support general office IT tasks such as device setup, workplace preparation or small support requests

Your profile

Must-haves

Enrolled student in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field
Basic understanding of Linux-based systems
First experience with server administration or virtualization (e.g. Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V)
Interest in hardware, networking fundamentals and system maintenance
Structured way of working, ability to complete tasks independently and willingness to acquire new knowledge on your own
Good English skills, spoken and written, because we work in an international environment

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Proxmox or similar virtualization solutions
Basic knowledge of networking such as VLANs, routing or firewall configuration
Experience working with server hardware or rack infrastructure
Some familiarity with monitoring, logging or backup concepts
First experience documenting IT systems
