Marketing Manager for NewSpace Startup

Your mission
As our Marketing Manager you will play a crucial role to increase our top funnel and position our company and services on the global space market and its various segments, further fueling our revenue growth. 
With your strategic approach, you will be responsible for our marketing roadmap and the respective budget, as well as its execution on an operational level. In the past, you have already demonstrated your ability to coordinate multiple tasks at the same time in a high-pace environment while not loosing sight of the the big picture. You are experienced in conference planning, defining product segmentation, market research, website and general content creation and also building slide masters. This means, you will work with many different teams and also need to be able to translate technical into commercial terms to demonstrate our services' value to different groups from CEO to end-user. You understand what it means to create a uniform company brand on every level in communication and design that not only attracts externals but also employees identify with. Last but not least, you should be familiar with general marketing KPIs that allow us to measure our improvements in support with our business team.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Sales Enablement:
  • Provide the sales team with product training and key talking points to improve their selling effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain sales collateral such as sales kits, pitch decks, case studies, and white papers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and refine customer acquisition approaches.
Campaign Planning & Execution:
  • Execute product marketing campaigns aimed at driving product awareness and demand in target markets.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Develop and grow segmented audiences for email marketing, while preparing and distributing quarterly newsletters.
  • Coordinate and deliver quarterly internal newsletters to communicate product updates and marketing initiatives.
Product Positioning & Messaging
  • Develop clear and compelling messaging frameworks that highlight the product’s value proposition and key benefits.
  • Tailor product messaging for various buyer personas and customer segments to ensure relevance and impact.
Market Research & Website:
  • Work alongside the sales team to conduct competitive analysis and understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
  • Identify market opportunities for product expansion, improvement, or differentiation.
  • Update our website and be responsible for maintenance.
Conferences & Workshops:
  • Plan and coordinate company presence at industry events, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and maximizing visibility and engagement
  • Manage event logistics and budgets, including booth design, promotional materials, speaker slots, and lead capture strategies.
  • Track ROI and performance metrics post-event to evaluate success and inform improvements for future participation.
Corporate Identity & Design:
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual and verbal communications, including digital, print, and physical touchpoints.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of brand guidelines, logos, templates, and other visual assets.
  • Collaborate with external creative teams and agencies to produce high-quality materials that reflect the company’s identity and values.
Your profile
  • Eligible to work in the European Economic Area (EEA), preferably in Germany or onsite in our main office in Brunswick. We can not provide visa sponsorship.
  • Master's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • +3 years of work experience in a high-pace environment, preferably B2B/B2G SaaS high-tech startup 
  • Proven experience in (product) marketing, preferably in collaboration with sales, product and design teams.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and content creation skills in English (C1-C2), including the ability to develop high-quality sales and marketing materials.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Technical experience in space or software engineering is a nice to have
