Solution Engineer

Your mission
​​You ​understand the technical aspects on which our platform is based on and understandably communicate ​the services that we offer to our new and existing customers.
​Hereby, ​you will address different customer groups ranging from start-ups, established players, governments to ​space agencies to generate initial interest and schedule first calls.
Furthermore, you are supporting our VP of Sales in refining and implementing our sales strategy and exploring additional sales channels.
​Also, you will ​have an open ear for customer suggestions ​that ​are translated into new ​platform features.
Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Meeting with clients to determine their needs and preferences and explaining products and services offered by the company
  • Establishing relationships with data suppliers
  • Identifying opportunities for new services, or applications that will increase revenue or improve efficiency in operations based on customer feedback
  • Ensuring that all staff members are trained on product knowledge and customer service skills
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction with products and services
  • Coordinating with sales staff to schedule appointments or demonstrations with potential clients
  • Conducting market research to identify new opportunities for products or services together with the product and marketing manager
Your profile
Must-haves:
  • You possess at least a bachelor’s degree in the field of  engineering, computer science, business or a related discipline.
  • You have at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills that allow you to help our customers to understand the services we offer. As an active listener you build strong relationships with our team and customers.
  • Your problem-solving skills allow you to identify and solve problems that arise during the sales process.
  • You are located in the European Economic Area and have a valid working permit.
Nice to haves:
  • Previous experience within the space sector is a plus, but at least in another technical sector.
  • You have worked in a start-up and know how to establish new processes and best practices.
